Modern design has a history of producing sleek flat faced and austere responses. Where a the outer surface usually is not treated putting the focus back onto the material but also to save on costs. The Fillet Bed aims to break this notion by introducing a faceted exterior face to an underlooked item of the bedroom, but also with costs and efficency in mind. The Fillet bed is designed to be quickly milled on a CNC with the machine in mind, and then put together in a manner that is easy for the layman.
